Men In Lake For An Hour After Boat Capsizes

OMAHA, Neb. -- Two men were taken to the hospital in critical condition after spending about an hour in Lake Manawa in Council Bluffs.On Tuesday, officials said Aaron, 27, of Council Bluffs, and Terry, 23, of Council Bluffs, had been upgraded to fair condition at Creighton Medical Center in Omaha.
Police said the men fell in the lake after a wave hit their boat and tipped it over.Paul Crane heard the men's cries for help and called authorities."They were hollering and yelling, so we called 911 right away," Crane said.Rescuers said the men were very cold and shaking when they were brought ashore around 7:10 p.m.Rescuers said there was no sign of the men's boat and the men had not been wearing life jackets.
